Can someone tell me what word to use instead of subspecies here? I saw "sub-breed" in the Savage Orc (Warhammer) article but I'm not positive whether night goblins are a "breed" of common goblins, i.e. their physiological traits are different from the ones of common goblins... or something like that. Would variety be a good word? Anzuhan
- They're not really a breed as such, just adapted to living in a different enviroment. Whilst this has altered their psychological characteristics, I'd write something like "Night Goblins are a different variety of goblins adapted to life underground..." or something similar, just as Forest Goblins are adapted to life in the jungle. I suppose that either variety or breed would be good, just as long as the emphasis is that Night Goblins are not bred (like Uruk-Hai, for example!), but just adapted to living underground. Anyway, just my ideas... :)
