The term Ordinary National Diploma is no longer used, indeed, has not been used for many years. BTEC National Diploma is the term used.Dpenrievans 18:43, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

O.N.D.s were issued before Edexcel (or BTEC) was associated with them. Some were issued by the Technician Education Council; Considered a less academic alternative to 'A' levels, with more pracical and vocational training, they were accepted for entry to undergraduate programs at University level, and they are still valid diplomas for recognition of academic achievement.

In concurrence with Dpenrievans, BTEC National Diploma is the correct title, OND should only be included in "History" sections under "Previous Title". Pebkac 10:57, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
