Shopping mall vs. strip mall

Please do not change the redirect back without first discussing it on this talk page. Shopping center is listed as alternate name for strip mall in the Strip mall article currently. Unless I am mistaken, it has always been the policy to redirect alternate names to the topic they synonymous, even when that is a sub-article. Unless someone can demonstrate that I have misread the disambiguation policy then the redirect should remain to the strip mall article. Please note that the term "Shopping centre", spelled with a "re" at the end is different then "shopping center" with an "er" at the end. The former is a European spelling and is an alternate name for a shopping mall. The latter is a North American spelling and is mostly used as an alternate name for a strip mall. --Cab88 (talk) 18:11, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I struck my above post because I agree with WP:Primary topic, not necessarily either of you; just follow it correctly. Since what is the primary topic can be tricky, you might want to ask at Wikipedia talk:Disambiguation about this matter. Also, WP:Primary topic is a guideline, not a policy.
