[edit]I thought Daffney's last name was "Gillfin" not "Futura". Futura was just in that one episode, and that was Daffney's granddaughter.
Dedication
[edit]Hi, I am Gortu, the first collaborator of this article. I just wanted to dedicate this article to a guy from Milano whom I met at a crazy scandinavian party in Barcelona in 2002, and who was so drunk and could only talk about the Snorkels in italian, or Snorks :-). When I looked the articule up in wikipedia, nothing was there so something had to be done. Please don't erase this comment :-)

Move Request
[edit]It was requested that this article be renamed but the procedure outlined at WP:RM#How to request a page move did not appear to be followed, and consensus could not be determined. Please request a move again with proper procedure if there is still a desire for the page to be moved. Thank you for your time! -- tariqabjotu 03:06, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Snork 01.jpg
[edit]Image:Snork 01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:17, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Lists
[edit]This page has about 6 sentences and the remainder is a huge episode list (unlinked) and a character list. It really could use some more content (especially background). - superβεεcat 23:05, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

- Hello to everyone! I wanted to use that image on the italian version of this page but I've found that it is not in Wikimedia Commons. I've red what BetacommandBot said, but it could be outdated in 12 years. Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance! Sinucep (talk) 10:59, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
- I saw: it is not feasible to load TV logos in Wikipedia Commons. So, should I load the image in the way the page in english did? Sinucep (talk) 13:06, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
Origins and media
[edit]Snorks are also a comic album series by French company Dupuis, but the article mentions nothing about it. Was the tv-series spawned by the comics, or the other way round? Are they a French-Belgian, or an American inspiration? 91.132.141.80 (talk) 17:04, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- A bit late to answer, but anyway : the Snorks concept was created by Freddy Monnickendam, who produced the Smurfs. The design came from Nicolas Broca, who originally created characters called "Diskies" to include into the franco-belgian comics series Spirou et Fantasio he was drawing at the time. Only a few pages were realized, and the project never went through, so the Diskies design ended up being used for the Snorks instead. Dupuis, Spirou and Smurfs` publisher, provided a few comics for the series. So they're completely Belgian.80.214.253.12 (talk) 15:32, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
