Wrong Genre(s)
[edit]Genre(s) is all wrong. The main map is Turn-based strategy where as the battles are Real-time tactics. Real-time strategy is incorrect. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategy_video_game — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.0.140.137 (talk) 19:02, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Assuming that by main map you mean the galactic conquest game mode, it is NOT turn based. The game progresses in "real time" while on the galactic map. There are no turn based elements in this game.173.197.176.165 (talk) 06:03, 2 March 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Would it be appropriate to take the introduction from wookieepedia and paste it here? It is very well written there and would fit well. It can be found here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Empire_at_War. Bvdrunner (talk) 22:02, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Mods section
[edit]I was wondering if I could ad a section for Mods of the game, IE: Republic at War, Imperial Civil War — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:344:C300:7C0:CD97:82B1:125E:D62A (talk) 00:10, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
- Unfortunately unless they've been covered by major media we can't. --Teancum (talk) 00:26, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
- Idk if this counts, but here's some articles by Eurogamer (https://www.eurogamer.de/wir-bekommen-wahrscheinlich-kein-star-wars-empire-at-war-2-aber-diese-beeindruckende-mod-hievt-das-original-ins-jahr-2020), The Escapist (https://www.escapistmagazine.com/star-wars-empire-at-war-mod-lets-you-make-your-own-ahsoka-sequel/) and Gamestar (https://www.gamestar.de/videos/star-wars-empire-at-war-die-besten-mods-fuer-den-rts-klassiker,105416.html) which tend to be among the significant media with regards to gaming. For some further Statistics which could be used in such a section we have active Steam player counts (https://steamcharts.com/app/32470) or the pages of individual mods such as Fall of the Republic which is going towards half a million subscribers with ~387'400 currently (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1976399102). 2A02:1210:1C27:2900:C9F:A6CD:66B8:325C (talk) 00:42, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
