Missing section on criticical reactions
[edit]Given that it's the basis for the movie The Social Network, this article does a disservice by not including a section on critical reactions, criticisms and accolades. Here are some sources that may be appropriate to pull quotes/discussion from:
- CNET review, 'Accidental Billionaires' is deliberately careful, Caroline McCarthy, 30 June 2009: "On the bright side... the book probably isn't as factually dubious as it could have been, but it also means that Zuckerberg and Saverin aren't the world's most compelling protagonists. There's a reason there aren't more bestsellers about computer geeks.
- The Guardian-UK, A sexy saga of Facebook's birth - but is it fantasy?, Paul Harris, 5 July 2009
- New York Times, Harvard Pals Grow Rich: Chronicling Facebook Without Face Time, Janet Maslin, 19 July 2009: "'The Accidental Billionaires' is so obviously dramatized, and so clearly unreliable, that there’s no mistaking it for a serious document...And Mr. Mezrich really is a vigorous storyteller in his crass, desperately cinematic way."
- Wall Street Journal, "Glancing at Facebook", Paul Boutin, 22 July 2009: "“The Accidental Billionaires” is simply one long, awkward stunt."
- The AV Club, "The Accidental Billionaires", Donna Bowman, 20 August 2009: "Saverin’s bitterness over what he perceives as a calculated campaign to devalue his stake in the company and write him out of the origin story soaks the whole book in self-pity." (Reviewer gave it a "D+")
