Francis Gary Powers

The "Other Versions" section refers to Powers being "taken POW" after being shot down over Soviet territory. The US was not at war with the USSR, so Powers was not a POW. That's not just an academic distinction. Powers left the US Air Force in 1956 and was a civilian employee of the CIA when he was shot down in 1960. He was charged by the Soviets as a civilian.
