I corrected "first named for barracuda" to "second". F-1 F-2 (I have to learn to read...) was first. Early USN sub names get a bit convoluted with all the changes to name & pennant number (as I just proved...) Trekphiler 17:34, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- Since F-2 was renamed before she was launched, maybe 'second assigned the name "barracuda"', or some such, would be better?

- I gotta remember to put pages on my watchlist, or I'd've answered this sooner... I think that works.
- While I'm here now, I also notice a conflict with my sources on use of BuEng diesels. Alden & Lenton don't record it, just rhe re-engining to MANs. The Watcher 03:46, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
