Untitled
[edit]According to the notes on the complete MYTO CD of Tristan und Isolde, the soprano Ursuleac's taking the role of Brangaene was a last-minute emergency substitution owing to the unavailability of the mezzo who had originally been engaged for the role. Alloco1 (talk) 21:39, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Strauss's favourite?
[edit]Apparently Maria Cebotari was Richard Strauss's favourite. He said she was "the best all-rounder on our stages and is never late and never cancels." 86.133.115.155 (talk) 17:25, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Near-copy of this page on pristineclassical.com
[edit]The page https://www.pristineclassical.com/collections/artist-viorica-ursuleac contains a near copy of this page, possibly an exact copy of some prior version. I am not experienced enough with copyright policy on Wikipedia or checking copyright and licensing to resolve the issue now, but it seems worth a note.
If it is a copy, I just added circular citations that should be deleted, so I also added another independent source for those just in case. RowanElder (talk) 22:51, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
