Why a dab
[edit]This page formerly redirected to Earl of Limerick, but I have made it a dab because many sources call the Hamiltons "Viscount Limerick" and few sources call the Perys "Viscount Limerick". It may be that (1) the former sources are technically incorrect and (2) the latter sources are missing simply because there is no need to refer to "Viscount Limerick" except in the years 1800-1803. But even allowing for that, (a) Wikipedia goes by common name and not legal name and (b) we need to be of most use for readers; I had to scratch my head to understand the distinction and I want to save future readers' heads from excessive scratching. jnestorius(talk) 21:52, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
