WOGX coverage in Citrus County
[edit]As mentioned by CFIF, WOGX's website mentions that they cover Citrus County. However, neither Bright House nor Comcast offer the station on Citrus County systems, opting only for WTVT. Because of this, I removed the Tampa bay TV template. -- azumanga 08:42, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

---|---|---|
1. Well-written: | ||
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2. Verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check: | ||
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). | I checked every 8th ref and everything checked out therefore I see no reason to dig further. Refs I checked: [1][2][3][4][5] IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2c. it contains no original research. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
2d. it contains no copyright violations or plagiarism. | Copyvio found no issues. [6] IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
3. Broad in its coverage: | ||
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style). | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. | Who is even editing radio networks? (that is other than Sammie) IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio: | ||
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. | The one image used is PD. IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions. | IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) | |
7. Overall assessment. | I'm going to put this on hold until Sammi Brie can get back to me on the feedback I have provided thus far. IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

using virtual channel 51.
appears to be unsourced. IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC)- Dropped this part. (It's in the "so obvious the ref won't say it" department.)
whose newscasts it simulcasts.
What does "simulcasts" mean? Is it reasonable to either give a quick explanation (unless it's a term widely known) or wikilink it? IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC)- Wikilinked simulcast.
- Should "channel" be capitalized when talking about specific channels, such as channel 51? IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- News media and headlines do tend to do this, but I don't. Previous guidance from me in Talk:KDNL-TV/GA1:
We don't capitalize it, but a lot of media outlets will. (We only capitalize "channel" in running text in the name of an organization, and the cases similar to this are generally non-US entities, things like Channel 4).
- News media and headlines do tend to do this, but I don't. Previous guidance from me in Talk:KDNL-TV/GA1:
Big Sun TV vacated it in June
I'm assuming you mean June 1981 but just wanted to confirm. IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC)- No, it's 1983. Glad you found that.
- analyzed buying the station may sound better as
contimplated buying the station
orconsidered buying the station
but let me know what you think. IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC) analyzed buying the station from Wabash Valley but opted not to do so.
Is there a specific reason given for why they didn't? IntentionallyDense (talk) 20:44, 31 October 2024 (UTC)- Unfortunately, no.
