Blewburton Hill
[edit]- ... that Blewburton Hill in Oxfordshire features unusual lynchets, of unknown age and function? Source: "The hill features a number of unusual terraces or lynchetts, the age and function of which is unknown." PastScape: Blewburton Hill: "Of the unusual terrace or lynchet-type features all that can be said is that they are definitely post Iron Age but that their function is still an open question."

- Solid article on plenty of good sources, subscription sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed, but shows what lynchets are (I didn't know, thanks for the link) only in larger size, - You don't need references in the lead unless it's only in the lead. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:17, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
