Gigarta
- ... that Gigarta, a settlement mentioned by Strabo and Pliny the Elder, is believed to have been located on the slopes of Mount Lebanon, although its exact location remains debated?

- This interesting little article, created on the 12 November, is new enough, long enough, well-sourced, and presentable. Acceptable use of primary sources here, but Renan 1864, p. 149 otherwise verifies that Pliny and Strabo mention the settlement. Aliquot says the town is probably in the foothills of Mount Lebanon.
