Intentional weight gainThe majority of dieters regain weight over the long term.[8] Supplementation should not be looked at as there first source for losing weight. The main source of "supplementation" is diet and nutrition.
Meaning that their should be a certain amount of macros to set that you must hit. Macros involve the tracking of ones fat, carbohydrate, and protein intake.
TECHNIQUES
Sugar is a carbohydrate and has shown to be the reason why weight gain takes place. According to share care, they state that though sugar itself is not the reason why weight gain takes place. A calorie surplus leads to weight gain. Sugar provides on average 4 calories per gram without any actual nutrients[1]. Additional added sugar will lead to many calories which will end up being stored in the body as fat. By lowering your sugar intake, you will be overall lowering the amount of calories consumed. This is yet another technique available to cause weight loss. Another very effective technique/diet is the keto diet. This diet has been shown to have very effective results when it comes to losing weight. Being one for the most effective, it is also one of the most challenging because it involves a restriction of your carbohydrate intake. A keto diet focuses more on getting their calories in by fats and proteins rather then carbohydrates[2]. The way it works is by eliminating the body of carbohydrates. By doing this, it will start to break down the fat and protein for energy causing ketosis also known as weight loss. Intermittent fasting is another form to lose weight. This technique involves not eating from one specific time to other. This gives you the ability to only intake calories during a certain window period. Not only is their benefits considering weight loss but it also improves your health overall.[3]

This list can range from being sicks for a small period of time or many more.[9]Whether it is a small cold or an infection, they have some affect on whether you gain or lose weight due to eating patterns.[10] Traveling can also play role in this as well due to not reaching your everyday macros.[11]
SOCIAL CONDIITIONS
It has been shown that social factors play a huge role when it comes to losing a couple of pounds.
