2. Can you upload the cover art of an album under a claim of fair use? Why? (10 points)
- A: Not actually. Because, it is completely copied. So, it is non-free. And as it can be used in commercial way it is not free. 15:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
3. What speedy deletion criterion does this page apply to? (5 points)
- A: A3. Because any article rephrasing of the title in the content, can be A3rd. 15:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
4. Wikipedians should assume ______ faith. Fill in the blank. (2.5 points)
- A: Good (to be polite and civil along with saying the right thing) 15:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
5. There are three ways in which an article can be deleted. Name them, name their abbreviations, and explain how they work. (20 points)
- A:
1st: CSD - there are few tags from G1-G12, A1-A10 under which an article can be deleted. For e.g., if an article qualifies for A7, then on the top use db-a7. Next step is to notify the author using the code in the bottom of the template appearing due to use of A7
2nd: PROD - Same procedure as CSD, but we have to subst it, for e.g., subst:prod|reason, then notify the author using a code (almost same as in CSD)
3rd AfD - Similar to above mentioned, but then have to create the entry page for AfD and have to state the reason for nomination there and notify the author (like in CSD and PROD)
15:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC) 6. Explain in your own words what CSD A7 means. (10 points)
- A: This means that something is not important. To be specific, article about a person, web content, musician, group, company, etc., which is of no importance to the big mass of humanity can be considered under A7. 15:14, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
7. Never comment on a(n) _________. Fill in the blank. (2.5 points)
- A:
8. Name the three "core content policies" on Wikipedia and what they mean. (10 points)
- A: They are : 'neutral', 'verify' and 'nothing original'
1st- Neutrality- This means that any content should be neutral in a view as this is encyclopedia not Monday night verdict or similar autobiography etc.
2nd- Verifiable- Whatever content is there, should be verified. Unreferenced materials can be wrong or misleading so there should always be a link to verify. It is the base of the website. Exceptions: You dont have to verify that 'Water is in liquid state'
3rd- No-original-search- Things should not be of original source. Though everything is original, this means that any content which is done by someone which is not important nor true nor accurate and things which cannot be excepted or things which cannot be real and is just came to thought of a person cannot be included in this site (Urban dictionary is place for such things)
