The user contributed to the section entitled "addiction as a disease." I feel like this header needs to be changed to match what the content the user provided. In this section, the user explained different models for understanding addiction. However, not all the models conceptualize addiction as a disease. For example, the reward theory the user mentioned conceptualizes addiction as learned behavior. Therefore, addiction is seen as a psychological condition rather than a disease. I feel like this needs to be fixed so as not to spread disinformation about these competing ideas. I also would have liked the subsection on the disease model to highlight historical perspectives (like AA) as well as more current versions of the disease model.

With that being said, the user did make notable contributions to the page. I think it will be helpful for readers to understand the underpins and different theoretical perspectives on the origin of addiction. The user cited secondary sources, such as literature reviews.
