I like your idea of going deeper into the history of dissociation. It is something I hear a lot about nowadays and have often wondered when it began/when people realized they were dissociating. The lead for the article page encompasses the definition and background relevant to dissociation for readers to understand, however, your education on its origins could aid in developing a more constructive lead. To my understanding, there is good neutrality in the language/tone used throughout this article so just make sure to keep that within your edits. The psychopathological section seems to not have very much information, so that would be beneficial to research more on. Another subheading that could be beneficial to find more information on is also the incorporation of psychoactive substances, many people participate in substance abuse daily, do they cause an increase in dissociation?
