For your excellent work on Indian geography and efforts to improve article quality on important articles. You are invited to collaborate on articles with myself and User:Nvvchar. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:11, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Nvvchar and myself regularly write articles like Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, Dal Lake, Manas River etc. You are most welcome to collaborate with us. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:12, 9 May 2010 (UTC) Is it only Indian rivers you work on or are you interested in say Bhutan too. I stubbed Kuri Chhu earlier. You are welcome to help work on it and nominate it for a DYK. Dr. Blofeld White cat 11:12, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Beautiful work! Well done! Thanks for creating the Bhutan hydrology template too! Dr. Blofeld White cat 08:17, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Excellent. I'll see if I can add something, you've done a pretty good job already! Dr. Blofeld White cat 08:42, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

One thing. I've noticed you use a lot of WP:PEACOCK words like "magnificent", "impressive", "spectacular", "beautiful" etc. These words are not advised for an encyclopedia because they are subjective words and may affect WP:NPOV. If when you write articles you could try to avoid this, this would be great. Also, I don't know whether you know this but google books is always a good place to look for sources too... Dr. Blofeld White cat 09:13, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

I mean we "know" they are very impressive or beautiful, Bhutan and much of northern India is beautiful but try to avoid the cliche expressions, that's all. One other thing, if you use formal reference citations which give the author, url, title, publisher, url, date etc this would be great. I'll fill them out for Paro chhu, if you could follow the example on future articles this would be "spiffing". Keep up the great work.09:24, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Mmm small problem. The only hook I can think of is about the three chortens. But if I nominate it, somebody will question the reliability of the tourist site used to reference it.. Could you find a stronger source to support it, maybe in google books or something? Dr. Blofeld White cat 09:53, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

We're in luck. I already added that Negi source anyway, but I have a book on Bhutan and Chhuzom is covered on page 160. I've co nominated it now for a hook! Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:13, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi I made a map of the Brahmaputra. It is only a section but shows a number of tributaries. I thought it might be useful for any of your river articles. You could label the river in the given article on the map, I can do that for you if you want it. I'll have to see a google or other map of the river though to identify it, I can make different maps for different parts of the river system too.. Dr. Blofeld White cat 10:33, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Rail Gadi Barnstar

File:Delhi Duronto.jpg Rail Gadi Barnstar
Indian Railways has a unique position in our daily lives. From the first train travelled from Bombay to Thane in 1853 to Vision 2020; from Satyajit Ray's Pather Panchali to Shahrukh Khan and Malaika Arora Khan's Chaiya Chiaya; from bravery of Riyaz Ahmed to some most terrible accidents in the nation's history — it has been a long journey. Thanks you very much for you tireless contribution to improve Indian Railways articles in Wikipedia.
