Roi Yozevitch (born April 30, 1982) is a Interdisciplinarity Israelis writer, lecturer, and Research. He holds a Ph.D. in electronic engineering and computer science, and is known for his lectures, educational videos, and books on education and excellence.
Biography
[edit]Born in Israel, Yozevitch served as an officer in the Israeli Air Force from 2005-2008. He received his B.Sc. in electronic engineering from Tel Aviv University. In 2018, he received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computers from Ariel University Center of Samaria under the direction of Professor Boaz Ben Moshe. Since 2012, he has served on the faculty of Ariel University. He previously served as director of Israel’s first social Small satellite project, through KCG Laboratory at Ariel University. His research fields include artificial intelligence, upgrading the accuracy of GPS, improving the efficiency of psychological evaluations, and enhancing learning skills. In 2017, Yozevitch was awarded the [[Wolf Prize]] for achievements in science and arts. In addition to his academic activity, Yozevitch delivers lectures and workshops to companies and organizations on Artificial intelligence, excellence, and pponline learning|Educational technology]]. Yozevitch also lectures to youth science programs and to the general public. From 2010-2018, he worked with the Atidim Program, founded by Branco Weiss, to promote the advancement of youth on Israel’s social and geographical periphery. Since 2005, Dr. Yozevitch has performed as a comedian and mentalist. In 2015, he began to include inspirational messages in his performances, encouraging excellence and higher education. In 2007, he published his first book, Out of the Box – Achievement, Enjoyment, and the Impossible, a study of excellence based on research and publications in social sciences and mathematics. The book received approbations from List of Nobel laureates Prof. Robert Aumann and Prof. Aaron Ciechanover as well as from Prof. Dan Ariely, Prof. Tal Ben-Shahar, and others. In 2017, he published Education Revolution (Yediot Publishing), a how-to book for improving independent learning skills that focuses on the advantages of online education. In 2019 he published The Uncomfortable Truth About Intelligence, which presents his research on human intelligence from the viewpoint of an artificial intelligence expert. In 2020, his digital course “Navigation Algorithms and Location Revaluation” was published on the CampusIL website. He is married with four children and lives in a town in Samaria.
