uYilo
[edit]uYilo is an electric mobility (e-Mobility) programme that promotes and enables the e-Mobility ecosystem in South Africa. [1]
The E-Mobility Programme was launched by the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) on 13 March 2013.[2] The TIA was established in 2009, as an entity of the Department of Science & Innovation and is supposed to stimulating and intensifying technological innovation, streamline IP and accelerate the development of new technologies and services for e-mobility.[3] The TIA has been plagued without a permanent CEO since 2019 and a performance bonus scandal.[4]
