Don Rataj Who is Don Rataj? Don Rataj was born on April 18th 1954 at 6:30 am Easter Sunday at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis. Don was born to the parents Tony and Kay Rataj and raised with an older brother Ed and sister Mary Ann at a home on 1030 Louisville, St. Louis. This home was part of the Dog Town area of St. Louis which was next to the area of the 1904 Worlds Fair. The name Dog town was started when the dog would disappear during the Fair as dinner to some of the tribe exhibits. Don grew up and attended St. James the Greater school, the Augustinian Academy for High School. College was University of Kansas school of Architectural with degree in 1976. Don is an Architect, Arbitrator, Expert Witness, and a magician. Don ability as a card magician with a regular deck have taken him around the world, and he has preformed in Paris, Vegas and on cruise ships. Don efforts are now focused on magic history and research of past famous magicians. Don also enjoys Zumba and djembe type drum cirles in the St. Louis area.
