Gabrielle Mary Rikihana (born circa 1927) is a New Zealand community leader. In 2020 she was awarded the Sir Kingi Ihaka Award, which recognises lifetime contribution.

Academic career

Rikihana completed a Master's degree with a thesis titled Invariance: a study of some conserving behaviours in young children in 1972 at Massey University.[1] Rikihana then studied overseas, ...

In 2020 Rikihana was awarded the Sir Kingi Ihaka Award by Creative New Zealand, which is awarded "to kaumātua/kuia in recognition of their contribution to strengthening the continuity of Māori culture through their support of ngā Toi Māori".[2][3]
