Ir. Dr. Tan Chee Fai AMN, Hon. FAFEO, FAAET, FIEM, ACPE, PEng, APEC Eng., Int. PE (Chinese: 陈志辉) is a digital transformation advisor, professional engineer, professional technologist, researcher, academic and industry leader.[1]
He is currently the alternate committee member of the Standing Committee on Engineering Education, the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) and strongly advocates mutual recognition of engineering degrees in Asia and the Pacific region by promoting the FEIAP Engineering Education guidelines (Engineers, Engineering Technologist and Engineering Technician).[2]
He was named Fellow ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET)) in 2018[3] for contribution in engineering education. Additionally, he is the Honorary Fellow of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO),[1] and Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).[4]
Based on his contribution to the engineering community since 1998, Ir. Dr. Tan was awarded 2014 Ten Outstanding Young Malaysian Award Honoree.[5]
