Can someone please help me upload a picture.

can you see on the left of the screen down the bottom is an upload file link. Make sure you have permission to copy the file - eg you took the photo your self, or its public domain. Click on that link and pick the file, give it a name, and select a copyright you want to give it. If the picture is not fair use, and is useful in other projects you may wish to register at the wikipedia commons and upload there. (Hey normally we talk on the talk page!)
