The 2nd Diorama International Film Festival & Market took place virtually from 18th December 2020 to 01st of January 2021.[1] The 15-day long festival took place across five continents, covering an audience of over two million. The festival screened over 200 films from all around the world. An initiative of Indian Film Institute, a Non-Governmental Organisation, aimed at promoting the appreciation of the cinematic art, Diorama partners with Film Federation of India, the apex body of Indian film makers.
Online Edition
[edit]Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Diorama International Film Festival and Market[2] decided to go online for its second edition. Turning the pandemic into an opportunity[3], the festival covered an audience of over two million across five continents. The festival was organized on four platforms for audiences across the globe – Diorama Live, India; Mediastar, Indonesia; Filmocracy, USA; and My Open Stage, Turkey. It was also the first international film festival to completely adapt to an online space that conducted online screenings, webinars, film market, networking, and every film festival activity.
Diorama Film Bazaar
[edit]The second edition of Diorama Film Bazaar took place between 18-23 December 2020. The Bazaar had 400 Indian and international film professionals participating. This edition of the Film Bazaar comprised of the following sections:

Sreekar Prasad (Producer-Editor- India) and Stare Yildirim (Producer- Turkey).
The First Cut
[edit]A section dedicated to films seeking distribution and festival participation had 121 entries.
Short Film Center
[edit]A section dedicated international short films seeking partnerships, distribution and festival participation invited 140 entries.
Bazaar Sessions
[edit]The Film Bazaar organized as many as 39 Webinars on its partner sites. Some of the prominent names that spoke at these webinars were Jonathan Wolf, Managing Director, American Film Market; Jerome Paillard, Executive Director, Cannes Film Market; Tarun Sawhney, CEO, Shorts TV; Academy Award Winning Director, Jeffrey D. The Film Bazaar also hosted 1951 online meetings between Film Bazaar participants. Webinars
[edit]The festival organized more than 130 webinars and sessions[4], with an impressive speaker list of Academy and BAFTA Award winners, actors, directors and other film professionals from around the world. The second edition went beyond the conventional role of a film festival and brought unique and even complicated topics like the ‘Copyright Laws’, ‘Protection of Intellectual Property Rights’[5] into focus through Live interactions with some of the world’s best legal minds. The diverse topic range covered subjects like ‘Stunts Action Direction’, ‘Intimacy Coordination in Films’, ‘Creating and Producing Music Videos’ among several others.
