hoccomocco pictures is a Dixie studio which produces films, most on low budgets. The studio began in 2002 when it completed a transistion from Digital Equipment Corporation which had been absorbed by Compaq (1998) which later became part of Hewlett-Packard (2002).[1][2] hoccomocco is considered a leader among the smaller studios sometimes referred to collectively as rural.[3][4] The idea behind the studio is when the hoccomocco logo appeares, everyone knows they are in for art and beauty.[5]
