Mahmood Al-Tabra Al-Dulami, Al-Muhammdi, born in 1897, was the mayor of the Al-Falahat district in Baghdad and the owner of market ( Allawi ) Grains and Wheat near the Sheikh Sandal Mosque. This market is located along the eastern side of the Al-Falahat district. This market, known as the Allawi Al-Falahat market, is considered the largest market, followed by Al-Shawaka market. It has the largest Allawi Cereals in Baghdad, which contains Iraqi grains of wheat, barley, corn, lentils, and... Mung beans and rice , It is brought by the long convoys that enter Iraq from Syria and also from the western borders of Baghdad, coming from the countryside of Iraq, heading to Sheikh Marouf Al-Karkhi Street. Then the convoys enter the main street of Al-Falahat, causing chaos and dust in it, until they reach the center of the Allawi Al-Falahat market to unload their cargo. One of the most famous seeds Allawi’s markets known Allawi (Al-Tabra, Al-Shabib, and Al-Khair Allah). Hajj Mahmoud Jassim Hammadi Al-Tabra is considered one of the notables of the locality, as known Al-Tabara Family, this family is one of the oldest families that resident in Baghdad, known for their generosity and courage [1] They are from Al-Dulaim al-Mahamda tribe. [2] Haj Mahmoud al-Tabra used to help the poor and all the people of Alfalahat district turned to him to solve their problems. The house of Haj Mahmoud Abu Tabra was considered a refuge for the people who lived in Alfalahat district. Haj Mahmoud al-Tabra died in 1973, may God have mercy on him. [3] One of the landmarks of Al-Falahat district is the Shami bath, which is located near the Sheikh Sandal Mosque (Baghdad). Unfortunately, a large part of the Al-Falahat district has been cut off and annexed to Haifa Street. Other landmarks in Baghdad are the Al-Asfiyya Mosque and the Al-Mustansiriya School.
