I am new to Wikipedia.

I have a professional background in medicine, law and health insurance. For several years I wrote or edited health insurance manuals and training materials. I have worked as an editor, writer, Spanish translator and ESOL English teacher.

After retirement, I began working on a research project regarding disasters and disaster response, where I track and analyze data on global seismic activity and tropical cyclones in the Western Hemisphere.

I am fluent in English, moderately fluent in Spanish and minimally skilled in French and German.
