- Article Evaluation: Misinformation is a significant topic integrated in all sources of media. This article is relevant to the topic as it explores the history, terminology, and challenges behind misinformation. It is written with minimal bias and a neutral tone, focusing on the facts rather than opinions. Most claims are cited with articles linked, however there are some that have "citation needed" written next to it. While analyzing the sources cited I found that some of them are reliable, however some seem unreliable. Some sources are .org websites and have information that relates to the topic but others do not. Some reliable sources are journals from Sage Journal and National Library of Medicine. This article does not address one of Wikipedias equity gaps.

- Article Evaluation: Media bias is very common throughout social media and news sources. With the past election, there was a lot of bias present on the internet on most sources of media. This article explains the idea of media bias and how it effects the United States. Using statistics about race, gender, and politics the article focuses on how bias can manipulate viewers. The article makes an effort to stay neutral, but there is some bias when referring to the different political parties and the emphasis on one versus the other. Most areas of the article are cited , however there are some claims that have "additional citations needed" listed next to it. While looking at the sources most of them are reliable including studies, .org websites, and major media outlets. On the other hand, some sources do not seem very reliable and may need more research. The article does cover the impact media biases have on minority groups and regions.

This article talks about the different types of manipulation, algorithms and countries specific responses to fake news and manipulation. It is written in a neutral tone straying away from bias. The article focuses more on fact rather than opinions. Most information is supported with a citation, but many parts of this article need expansion so it can be reliable. The article has many unfinished parts to it therefore more research and resources are necessary. The sources already listed are mostly reliable however, there are a handful that seem unreliable. The article does not address one of Wikipedia's equity gaps.

This article is relevant to this topic and focuses on privacy issues associated with medias social networking. It talks about, data access, privacy settings, social profiling, and identity theft along with other concerns. Specifically, the most vulnerable populations being preteens and early teenagers. Most of the article is neutral focusing on information related to privacy concerns , however the article does critique specific platforms that may be opinion based. This can convey bias towards specific apps. While some claims to this article are well cites from studies and reports, a few sections need more research and resources. When looking through the sources there were some reliable ones and others that were questionable and could be backed up with more research. The article does not specifically focus on a Wikipedia equity gap.

Focusing on information about social persuasion, brand deals, and the reliability of this information. Specifically, the impact of influencers on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. These platforms are used daily by many people and everyone has been influenced by a product being promoted on social media. The article stays neutral most of the time focusing on history and facts about the influencers and their rise on social media. Most information in this article has citations, however some of them are not reliable and need more research. There is room for improvement when it comes to the reliability of this articles sources. At the top of the article is mentions needing revising on the resources and the need for more information and reliable research. This article does not talk about any specific Wikipedia equity gaps.
