Go Away Mad! (often just Go Away Mad)is an American rock band, formed in 2009 in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, United States by Ben Mackie and Patrick Hasse. It was originally intended to be called The Taxi, but that was already taken. They decided on Who We Are, but that was also taken, so eventually they decided on Go Away Mad!, a tribute to the Motley Crue Song, Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away).
In April 2010, the band decided to go on hiatus for an unknown amount of time. Drummer Joe Bruels and bassist Patrick Hasse formed a drum & bass/dance band called This Spring.
