The section you included on the Local wildlife of the Lumber River is well written and I like that you have incorporated hyperlinks for the species mentioned. I found a resource that I feel could be helpful for expanding on the fauna AND flora: https://auth1.dpr.ncparks.gov/nrid/public.php At this link, you will find a database of the documented plants and animals that can be found in North Carolina state parks. I believe this would be a valuable resource given that the Lumber River is part of the state park system. In addition I noticed a typo in the sentence "Other organism such as Megathymus yuccae, a giant yucca skipper..." where "organism" should be corrected to "organisms". Since you included the red-cockaded woodpecker, I think you should also mention that it is an endangered species as well as an endemic species. The hyperlink to the RCW article seems either inaccurate or outdated. It states that this species of woodpecker is not threatened (as indicated in the information box to the right of the page). According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service however, as of March 2020, they are still an endangered species: https://www.fws.gov/rcwrecovery/rcw.html
