Bernard Natan

[edit]

Please don't blank in a wholesale fashion cited material in this article, or material which is not cited to neutral, reliable, third-party publications. Wikipedia's policy on use of verifiable sources specifically excludes such sources as the the LIPS.org site because such a site is self-published, lacks meaningful editorial oversight, is not written by a published expert in the field, and the material has (by its own admission) not been published reliable, unbiased, third-party source.

Removing cited material is not the appropriate approach. Rather, where sources contradict one another or challenge one another's claims, the claims of both sources should be made clear in the text, with appropriate inline citations to neutral, published, third-party sources. Editorializing against Slade (or Roussel-Kirchen) must be avoided. Rather, the sources should speak for themselves. It would also be useful to discuss these sorts of changes on the Talk page.

I am very glad that you want to help improve the "Bernard Natan" article. But these changes are almost identical to ones you made in February 2009, which ran afoul of the same Wikipedia guidelines at that time, too. If there is real controversay here, by all means—get it in the article. But this must be done within Wikipedia's guidelines. Thank you. - Tim1965 (talk) 13:28, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
