I'm organizing an [ http://geniimagazine.com/magicpedia/MagicPedia:Edit-a-thon_2013 All Things Magic Edit-a-thon 2013] to be held on Saturday, September 14th.This Wiki-kadabra event will promote bringing together magicians and magic enthusiasts from around the world to help update Wikipedia and MagicPedia articles concentrating on a range of topics around magic history. Sponsored by Genii Magazine, MagicPedia (the wiki for magicians by magicians), the Conjuring Arts Research Center and Grand Illusions magic store, it will be held virtually around the world, with the goal to help assimilate MagicPedia's content into Wikipedia (and vice versa).

Need to find at least on experienced wikipedia editor to help during the event.

See if all the Genii covers on MagicPedia can be used on Wikipedia. It has lots of images of magicians we can use.

Improve and help organize the magic related categories Category:Magic_(illusion)
Review the current Category:WikiProject_Magic_articles
Review current article by quality Category:Magic_articles_by_quality
Add Nationality to all MagicPedia biographies.
Add Category "Professional Magicians" to all full time performing MagicPedia biograhpies.
