Hardik Sangani is an Indian actor who is primarily known for acting in Hindi films, TV commercials and Indian Television. His debut film as the lead role was Midnights with Menka (2018) which was commercially successful.[1] His latest film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) achieved critical and commercial success.[2]
Biography
[edit]Hardik Sangani (born 30 July 1992) is an Indian actor[3] who started as a child actor in year 2000 with the famous Hindi television show called Chacha Chaudhary which was directed by Mr. Ketan Mehta. His next TV show was Indian Adaptation of the famous comic series “Dennis the Menace” in which he played Dennis in the show titled “GIlli-Danda”. Hardik also forayed into films and debuted with Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Asoka. He was also seen in Khel alongside cricketer turned actor Ajay Jadeja and 23rd March 1931: Shaheed with Bobby Deol. He acted in around 90 Television shows and did 100 ads for different multinational brands as a child actor.
Hardik then took a break from doing commercial acting as he wanted to focus on doing plays. He states that “Theatre is a must for every actor. It's like the base. It grooms an actor from being ordinary to extraordinary and exceptional”. He took admission in Mumbai’s Mithibai College. MIthibai is known for its Drama Team and many famous Bollywood Actors have been their alumni. Hardik has performed many English,Hindi,Marathi and Gujarati plays at the prestigious Prithvi Theatre. Hardik's two major plays "Aa Namo Bo Nade Che" and "Zero Bani Gaya Hero" became exceptionally hit in India and Australia.[4]
He has done around 60 TV commercials in the past 2 years. He was the brand ambassador for “Good Day Biscuits” for the IPL team Kings XI Punjab as “Happy Singh”. He also recently shared the screen space with the famous Bollywood Director “Anurag Kashyap” for Amazon’s Audible TV commercial. Apart from that he has done many TV commercials for brands like Netflix, Cadbury, Dominos and many more. He played “Diwakar” in the famous TV show ‘Thapki Pyar Ki’ on Colors TV.
