The Nemesis Metaverse

[edit]The Nemesis is a VR/AR Metaverse platform (1) based on gamification and is available on desktop and mobile through iOS and Android apps. (2)
Designed for the mass market (3), The Nemesis integrates video games, blockchain, social and 3D virtual worlds to engage the users and offer interactive experiences (4). The Swiss platform seamlessly unites Web2 and Web3 (5), and blends real and virtual experiences to create a unique and immersive gaming experience (6) that requires no special hardware (7).
The project is committed to promoting the widespread adoption of Web3 technology and making it accessible and enjoyable for people from all walks of life (8).
The Nemesis is a member of the Metaverse Standards Forum (9) and ranks first among the Top 20 Web3 Virtual Worlds by Metaversed (10).
History and development
[edit]The Nemesis is the main project conceived by UNDO Studios S.A., Swiss company headquartered in Lugano (11). The platform was founded by Alessandro De Grandi in 2019 (12).
So far, the company has released 3 Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collections (13):
- July 2021: Companions S1 - 8000 unique NFTs, which include a collection of futuristic digital collectibles on the Ethereum blockchain, brought to life on The Nemesis platform. (14)
- December 2022: RC-NITRO - 8888 unique NFT cars that can be purchased, exchanged and used inside of The Nemesis namesake gameplay. (15)
- March 2023: Lands S1 - 200,000 lands that will be distributed over 10 seasons on 10 planets. The first planet in The Nemesis Metaverse is Genesis, with 11,520 lands distributed over 80 sectors, with Caribbean Sea filler. (16)
In May 2023 The Nemesis launched NEMS, an ERC-20 payment token built on the Ethereum blockchain that serves as the basis for crypto transactions within the platform. (17)
Gamification
[edit]- RC Nitro: NFT car racing and battling gameplay
- Parkour: A range of parkour runs with varying levels of difficulty
- Dojo: A place where players can bring their Companion NFTs and battle in a head-to-head style to earn rewards
- Speed Runs and Quizzes: Games that are hosted on the platform to distribute rewards and gifts to top performers
- Treasure Hunts: These games can be found in themed metaverse spaces and involve solving tasks to earn rewards
Features
[edit]The Nemesis includes different features:
- Play-and-Earn: the platform is an ecosystem allowing users to earn money by playing (19). Additionally, Miners, launched in May 2023, play a substantial role in this Play-and-Earn (P&E) system. In fact, they are special attributes of Lands allowing players to generate COINS to be converted into NEMS. Owing to the platform’s Circular Economy system, players will be able to spend their time obtaining cards and COINS, the in-game currency used to purchase different virtual assets to customize their experience but also to cash out through NEMS tokens. (20) Users are able to buy NEMS on renowned exchanges where it is listed or even exchange COINS for NEMS and other currencies. (21)
- Interactive Experiences: The Nemesis is a highly immersive and interactive virtual world that allows users to create their own avatars, explore different environments, and perform a wide range of activities. (22), such as participating in amazing experiences, including live events, concerts, parties, and fun challenges with friends. (23)
- Interactive Corners: placed within various Metaverses, these tools are useful to obtain further information about Brands, products and events or to access external pages, including official Brand web pages (24) or e-comm (25).
- Custom virtual worlds: The Nemesis consists of different user-generated worlds. The custom worlds feature players, investors, Brands, and influencers (26) and house interactive experiences (27).
- User-generated content: The platform allows users to create their own environments, objects, and experiences using a range of powerful creation tools (28). The platform allows players to create their own metaverses. They are made by combining the Lands and the 3D sets. Players can create custom villages, art galleries that feature their works, and virtual stores to exhibit their products and Brands. This is achieved by a set Editor where players can either choose from already built templates or build custom sets to their liking. (29)

- 25+ vehicles: bikes, motorbikes, flying cars, ships, horses, etc. (31)
- Avatar Skins and actions: thanks to the integration with Ready Player Me, users can use their customized avatars in the platform (games, galleries, experiences, etc) or create avatars from a selfie. (32) Avatars can perform a wide range of actions, such as walking, running and jumping, but also flying, swimming, climbing, etc. (33)
