EBANX is an integrated international financial services company[3] based in Curitiba, Brazil. The company was launched in February, 2012.[4]
Integrated with several ecommerce platforms and also available through the EBANX payment page and its Single Product Checkout tool, EBANX provides over 100 Latin American local payment options to global merchants. EBANX has helped over 500 merchants expand to Latin America and over 40 million Latin Americans to access global services and products.[5]
History
[edit]Since its initial launch in 2012, EBANX has expanded to offer an EBANX Account, a digital wallet used to track all EBANX payments and refunds and make purchases via a prepaid virtual card, and has received the U.K. Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license (e-Money license) from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)[6]. EBANX has also become one of the first payment companies to be fully integrated with Google Pay.[7]
On January 31, 2018, EBANX raised $30M in a Venture Series round of funding.[6][8]

[edit]The EBANX mobile app was launched on December 30, 2015. According to Crunchbase, it has 63,831 monthly app downloads[8]. As of December, 2018 the EBANX mobile app had over 5,000 reviews and 100,000 downloads on the Google Play Store.[11]
