Amphelissa is an extinct genus of paleozoic mollusc (gastropod?) in the family Helicotomidae. [1] The genus was first named by British paleontologist Robert Etheridge, Junior [2] Amphelissa lived during the Devonian period in Australia, and was a suspension feeder.[3]
