Albert Niwamanya, is a businessman, entrepreneur, cybersecurity expert by profession and corporate executive in Uganda. He is the founder, propriator and the managing director of Alboyd Tours and Travel Ltd, a tour operating company in Uganda.
Background and education
[edit]Albert was born on 03 November 1994, in Kabale, Uganda in South Western Uganda, Kabale town is just a few kilometres from Katuna Boarder Rwanda. He grew up from a humble background and this motivated him to become the man he is today.
During his primary school he attended a church school, Kabale Adventist parents school and later went to Kabale trinity College where he studied on bursary since he was a playing in the school brass band.
He was later taken on by Alistair Boyd who started paying for his school fees. After his O-level education, he he then transferred to Hillside Academy for his A-Level Education in Ntungamo District. He later on joined Makerere University Kampala for his Bachelors degree. Having finished his Bachelors degree he got a chance to upgrade in the United Kingdom for a masters degree in Cybercrime and Digital Investigation at Middlesex University London [1]
Career
[edit]While still at Makerere University that is from 2014-2018, he was doing two jobs. one, he was working with Kids Club Kampala, a charity organisation operating in slum areas of kampala. Two, he worked as a driver for a chinese company Quick Taxi. Having gotten a chance to upgrate, he left and went to the UK for further studies. During his time in the Uk he did different casual jobs including working as an IT solutions provider to different people including Alistair Boyd. Having finished his studies in the UK, he returned to Uganda and started Alboyd Tours and Travel Limited where he works as the managing director. Other considerations
[edit]Albert is still involved in doing charity work and currently he keeps an eye on the youth resource center in Kabale District. The centre emparts the youth with computer skills.
