The Pygmy Hippopotamus is found in Sierra Leone, on Tiwai Island.[1] A picture of this rare animal was taken on Tiwai Island,[2] the first and only know picture of the animal in wilderness. | p.56 80 +-10 (G. Sierra Leone is home to a diverse number of primates. On Tiwai Island alone, there are 11 different species of monkeys, including the Black-and-white Colobus, the Red Colobus, the Olive Colobus, and the Diana Monkey.[1]
