Taipei Far Eastern Telecom Park, also known as Tpark, covers 24 hectares and approximately 60% will be used primarily for a 40,000 m², industrially-zoned R&D office complex and related residential/commercial zone. The remaining 40% is dedicated to a public facilities and world-class medical care facilities. The park is located in the New Taipei City (Banqiao District) as a transport hub which is including Taipei MRT System (Far Eastern Hospital Metro Station); Taiwan Railways System; Taiwan High Speed Rail System; and several major freeways. [1]

Tpark mainly focus on all IT-related businesses in information and communication technology, digital content, cloud computing, green technology, and intelligent technology industries as its tenants. Kris Yao, the world-renowned architect, designed the park's first world-class research office building and the building has named as TPKA.[2]

2007/07 Phase I construction of Tpark started.

2007/02 Telecom Park Project Urban Plan approved. Execution of Plan by MIA announced.

2006/07 "Far Eastern Digital Telecom Park" registered as "Taipei Far Eastern Telecom Park" (Tpark).

2006/04 FERD presented Tpark Project in Japan's "2006 YRP-WTP Telecom Summit.

2006/01 FERD sponsored the Software Defined Radio (SDR) Technical Development Seminar.

2005/11 FERD hosted "The Applied Results Demonstration of FTTx Presentation of Far Eastern Digital Telecom Park".

2005/11 The Environmental Impact Assessment approved by Department of Environment Protection, TCG.

2005/04 Telecom Park Motivation Team launched.

2005/02 MOE recognized Telecom Park Project as a telecom park within the "Major Industrial Facility Category"


of the Law entitled "Act for Promotion of Private Participation in infrastructure Projects" in Taiwan. 2004/02 MOE confirmed Telecom Park Project as " major investment development case ". 2003/09 FETL Invested in and established Far Eastern Resources Development Co., Ltd. (FERD) to develop Telecom Park. 2002/06 FETL(FENC) Board decided to transform Ban-Chiao Factory to Telecom Park.
