Shunali Khullar Shroff is a well known blogger[1] and an Indian author of the book ‘Battle Hymn of a Bewildered Mother’. [2] The book has been published on 15th March, 2015 by Hay House, India.[3] She has worked previously as a journalist, a corporate communications specialist, and the owner of a successful PR firm ‘Spin Doctor’.[4][5][6]

Early life.

Shunali has studied all over India during her school years, due to her father's job as an office in the Indian Army.[7] She started developing her writing skills at The Asian Age in 1995[8] when it was being edited and promoted by MJ Akbar. Within a few years Shunali switched over to Public Relations by joining Star TV, India where she took care of Corporate Communications for the next 3 years. Following this Shunali worked at Broadcast Worldwide and eventually launched her own Public Relations firm named ‘Spin Doctors’ in partnership with Parull Gosain [4][5][6] and handled a host of clients from the entertainment industry such as Channel V, Sony Music, Provogue and Shringar Cinemas .

Career

In the years that followed Mrs. Shroff took care of Corporate Communications at Fame Cinemas, a company owned by her family [6]. In 2010, Shunali took to blogging from Mumbai Musing [9] in order to find a medium for her creative impulses. The popularity of her blog grew with time and this encouraged her to write her book ‘Battle Hymn of a Bewildered Mother’ published by Hay House India in March 2015. [2] Shunali writes a monthly column for Conde Nast Traveller [10] and has also written guest columns for the Indian Express in the past.
