S.J. Ramprashan (Tamil: எஸ்.ஜே.ராம்பிரசன்) is a Tamil radio broadcaster, announcer and producer for Thamilfm at the Canadian Multicultural Radio (CMR) 101.3 FM station in Canada. Ramprashan is also a well known Tamil newsreader and programme host at Tamil Vision International (TVI), Canada.

He was one of the pioneer Tamil broadcasters that has worked and assisted in many of CMR ThamilFM's accomplishments since its initiation in 2003. He is not only hugely known for his work in Canada, but was also an active member of the broadcasting and programming team at Shakthi FM in Sri Lanka from 1998 to 2002. Later in 2002, he joined the broadcasting team at Canadian Tamil Broadcasting Corporation (CTBC)radio where he was appreciated by the Tamil audiences of all ages for hosting various radio programmes. One of this most spoken shows, that engaged massive Tamil audiences, was "Thiraviyam (Property) Plus". Thiraviyam Plus was a family entertainer that revolved around the obstacles and culture differences faced by a young, curious immigrant from Sri Lanka as he tries to establish a living in Canada. Ramprashan not only produced Thiraviyam (Property) Plus but had enacted the character of the young boy whom the programme revolved around. Aside from his broadcasting career, S.J. Ramprashan has also collaborated with noted Tamil writers by lending his voice in efforts to making audio versions of their books for increased convenience amongst readers and especially for the visually impaired. In October 2009 Ramprashan released his first completely narrated audio book in Canada, which featured a collection of short stories written by popular Sri Lankan Tamil writer Appadurai Muttulingam. A. Muttulingam's work and contribution to Tamil Literature have received critical acclaims and won numerous awards amongst the Tamils across the globe.

S.J. Ramprashan has also produced numerous radio commercials for notable Tamil Canadian businesses and cultural events and has voiced the Tamil versions of many of the main stream radio and television commercials for General Motors and Ontario's Ministry of Health. Spark Vision Media is Ramprashan's own production company that specializes in designing/hosting community business webpages and producing advertisements for various media.
