Niagara Falls is one of the most interesting things to me personally about Toronto. Not only does it border Canada but on the opposite side of the falls is the US. You see Niagara Falls borders both Ontario and New York. What is quite interesting to see is that on the other side, you can see the American Falls and it is New York. A common tale that is told is that between America and Canada, people would throw things over the falls to the border. The water that falls is mostly flowing in the horseshoe falls. And some of the water that is derived from the falls is actually as an energy source for the United States and Canada. Many people are unaware of it but Niagara Falls is the greatest source of electricity in the whole world. [1]
