Overall impressions

[edit]

Guiding questions:

  • Has the content added improved the overall quality of the article - i.e. Is the article more complete? - Yes, the article itself is more complete. The original article had a very short and vaguely descriptive plot of the overall movie. The updated sandbox has a more concise introduction/summary of the overall movie. It also adds to subtopics that were prevalent in the movie and used other articles to find more information to develop a more informational discussion about Reproductive Oppression and Family Planning Reforms in India.
  • What are the strengths of the content added? - I find one of the major strengths of the content added would be the addition of Reproduction Oppression and Family Planning Reforms in India because rather than just giving a summary of the movie, they pulled out these two important aspects from it and brought other outside sources into their work to develop very informational sections about these topics while having it all flow together.
  • How can the content added be improved? - One thing I would consider revising in the first paragraph of the content added is that there is a part that sounds like a direct quote from the movie n the fourth sentence. I would possibly revise it so it sounds a little more natural and maybe turn it into a direct quote so that the film can be directly cited.

Overall evaluation

[edit]

Overall, I think the content added to the article is very beneficial to the wikipedia page because it address specific moments in the film and it is also much more informational than what is currently on the wikipedia page for this film. The citations and references all work and were well used throughout the article to elaborate upon different aspects in the film that the original wikipedia page failed to have.
