(Compose a detailed peer review here, considering each of the key aspects listed above if it is relevant. Consider the guiding questions, and check out the examples of what feedback looks like.)

Lead may need to be updated after adding new material. Otherwise, the lead seems good right now.

The added content sounds like it will be new and relevant.

Tone and balance seem good so far, it fleshes out the article a bit more. Which is nice.

Organization: looks like you're putting things under the right subheadings. Are you making a new "Applications" heading, and if so could it instead be added as a subheading or as part of another section? The "Role in infectious diseases" heading in the main article is already a bit of a stub. Could be fleshed out, combined with another section, etc. Would be ideal in my opinion not to make another section ("Applications" in this case) that would fall to the same problem.

Images/media that will be added look good. Videos are always awesome! If they came from another Wikipedia article, perhaps add links or references within the blurb under the media.

Sources and References could use a few more; looks like you're only adding four sources, seems like it should be more than that with the amount of information you're adding.

Looking forward to seeing the end product!!
