Enzo Zelocchi is an Italian-American Hollywood film producer, actor and businessman.[1] He is best known for his success with the movie My Little Princess which won 33 movie awards[2] at film festivals and a 2010 semi-finalist for an Academy Award nomination, but also for his consideration to star as the new Zorro in the Zorro Reborn movie,[3][4] and in Starlight Man – The First Secret.[5] Zelocchi also serves as an executive producer and vice president of development at Crossroads Entertainment.[6]

He is also credited as a producer of Find Me Guilty,[7] starring Vin Diesel,[8] which was directed by the Academy Award winner Sidney Lumet;[9] and as producer of Shadow of Doubt,[10] starring Melanie Griffith[11] and Tom Berenger.[12]

Education & career

Zelocchi graduated with a degree in accounting from a private international school in Rome and moved to Milan shortly afterwards to pursue a specialty in marketing, media strategy and public relations at the IULM University of Milan.[13] He began to do some modelling and became a student of the Theatre Center in Milan where the Stanislavski's system[14] was taught and performed in live theatre plays, booked commercials, indie films and eventually got a starring role in a television show for several seasons.

According to Zelocchi, his acting skill set was strongly developed when he moved back to New York and studied acting from coach Susan Batson, whose Lee Strasberg[15] inspired method he totally connected.

Enzo Zelocchi also founded A-Medicare,[16] a technology and health care system using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology.[17]

Producer

Zelocchi started his producing career at a young age as an associate producer and post producer, with TJ Mancini, Screenwriter/Producer and President of Crossroads Entertainment, Inc. Over the past 10 years, Zelocchi has produced and executive produced more than eight films and TV shows nationally and internationally.

Zelocchi's 2010 project, My Little Princess, was considered for an Academy Award nomination as a Best Live Action Short Film. His forthcoming projects include: "Marco Polo, a Young Man in Love",[18] "In the Mouth of the Family",[19] "Hitman's Funeral"[20] and "Starlight Man – The First Secret".[21] Zelocchi is president and CEO of Enzo Zelocchi Films LLC and The Zelocchi Company LLC. He is also VP of Development at Crossroads Entertainment, Inc.[22]

Awards

Enzo Zelocchi and his projects have received more than 33 awards in film festivals and several nominations. These honours include: Grand Winner at the 2010 California Film Awards "Best Family Film", the 2011 Las Vegas Film Festival "Golden Ace Award", the 2010 Official Best of Fest Award "Recognizing Best in Independent Film", the 2010 Los Angeles Movie Awards "Honourable Mention", the 2011 Honolulu Film Awards "Gold Hahuna", and the 2011 Awareness Festival "Special Jury Award”.

He was also honoured over 5 times as Best Actor, 4 times as Best Outstanding Performance, 4 times as Best Director, 3 times as Best Writer and Best Producer,[23] and at the California Film Awards 2010 he won Grand Winner for "Best Family Film".[24] Other awards include the following film festivals: in 2010 Hollywood Variety Movie Awards as Best Actor and Best Outstanding Performance,[25] in 2011 at the Golden Indie Movie Awards[26] also as Best Actor and Best Outstanding Performance; as well as at the Hong Kong Best Film Awards as Best Actor, Best Outstanding Performance and Best Original Content.[27]
