Vexillocrate
Who I am
testy texty
Greetings!
I am Vexillocrate. Thank you for stumbling upon my insignificant user page.
I'm a relatively younger editor, but I've been using Wikipedia as a tool since I was a wee lad, and one day I gathered the courage to create an account and contribute to the project.
My "expertise"
Gaylor Lakes, Yosemite National Park; another place I like to go sometimes. You can't see my house from here.
I'm able to provide the project with a fair amount of knowledge on vexillology, heraldry, and patriotic music. It may be very obvious that these are nerdy and niche topics, but I swear, I'm more useful than that.
I am also able to contribute mostly to grammar reform and correction here on Wikipedia, although I feel that this is how most novices start out. I'm new here, don't judge me!

This user thinks ohh, if you want it to be possessive, it's just i-t-s, but if it's supposed to be a contraction, then it's i-t-apostrophe-s... Scalawag.
This user thinks you should be on Wikipedia. It's easy and free!.
Things to know
I want my user page to be very attractive, and I believe that the default user page should have customisable formats, so that your user page does not start out looking like a piece of crap.
Having a good looking user page can teach you how to have graphically pleasing websites later in your career (or so I believe.)
While we're on the topic, I'd would like to thank Antandrus for inspiration with my user page.
Look round at the courses of the stars, as if thou wert going along with them; and constantly consider the changes of the elements into one another; for such thoughts purge away the filth of life on earth.
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 7:47
Courage is the price life extracts for granting us peace.
Amelia Earhart
The cultivated person's first duty is to always be prepared to rewrite the encyclopedia.
Umberto Eco, Serendipities, "The Force of Falsity," concluding sentence.
All the work I do on Renaissance and early Baroque music is dedicated to the memory of Professor Seamus O'Reilly.
