I am a self-employed chartered engineer. I am the director of 6 businesses, from telecommunications to aircraft design... I certainly give Peter Jones a run for his money🤑 All from my home in Sampford Courtenay for over 25 years and seek to recruit and train employees from the parish wherever possible. I also have a fully comprehensive knowledge of business law and quite often spend my spare time advising parishioners of my expertise. I have a good working knowledge of planning, conservation and heritage and a particular interest in public finance and accountability. I am opposed to most things including West Devon Borough Council’s Core Strategy, which gives national developers the right to ‘build by stealth’ new towns of 1,500 estate houses of low architectural merit, spoiling Devon’s unique environment and heritage. I am married to Annette,she stays at home most of the time. I have one grown-up son living in Bristol who I never see and am a keen horse rider and beekeeper keeper but happiest when I'm driving my convertible saab down the A30.  My aim for Wikipedia is to add more factual content to our page.
