For anyone who might be curious, I derive my username from a fairly obscure quote from one of my favorite movies, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I figured I should probably update this, as I last edited it in 2013 and it is now 2020! I've had this account longer than any other online account I've ever had in my life!
I am a music fanatic. I play the piano, though not very inventively. I listen to a lot, though. Having been born in the late 1980's, it may seem strange that my favorite genre is Classic rock. I love Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Black Sabbath. I will revel in some (Tool, Deftones, Alice in Chains, etc., though! The only genre I almost exclusively dislike is country, but I can think of at least one gentleman who I'd exclude from that list. I'd be hard pressed to name any rap or present-day pop or R&B I enjoy. I agree with reasonable madman Christopher Dorner's manifesto in which he states that Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" is the best piece of music ever written.
Having had an abusive childhood, a sister with Dissociative identity disorder, and two grandparents who were psychologists, I also derive much pleasure from learning about the human brain. The disciples knew what they were talking about when they said "Ἰατρέ, θεράπευσον σεαυτόν." That seems a good place to mention that I consider my religion to be science. I am not only an atheist, I am an antitheist. I believe that a)religion has been the core and only reason for much violence and destruction in the world, b)coming to the conclusion that "God did it" shows an inability to use the scientific method and a general discontentcontedness and dissatisfaction with reality. l think that people should be allowed to believe what they want and am a strong believer in not shoving ideas (mine or anyone elses) down anyone's throat. Think for yourself, question authority.
Tambien, hablo español. Claro que no puedo communicar en este lengue tan bien como una persona hispana, y, algunas vezes, no sé una palabra, pero, generalmente, puedo hablarlo. Tenía una niñera de Costa Rica cuando fui menor y ella me enseñó.

There is nothing more discrediting (and that drives me more up a wall) than poor usage of English. Ignoring this will encourage me to ignore your comments.
