Hello, I'm Jim1138. An edit you recently made to Surdas seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:26, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of characters

[edit]

Please read in detail. It has clearly been mentioned that Maya renames herself Maya Rudra Roy after her marriage. And it was Maya Jaisingh who prepared agenda to destroy MJ and not Maya Rudra Roy. Next, "neé" is not correct to be used for a fictional character as per Wikipedia. Lastly, even if you want to use it, it should be Singh and not Jaisingh. As Maya's original surname was "Singh," and after her marriage with Vikram, she changed it to "Jaisingh," and after her marriage with Rudra, she changes it back to "Maya Rudra Roy." Even in a format, the details of characters are written, it might not be a good idea to create a nuisance which you create, minutes ago. Cast and characters

[edit]

Hello, I wanted to let you know that I have reverted one of your recent contributions specifically for Beyhadh Season 1's Cast and characters because it didn't seem to be constructive. Previously also, I mentioned that using "neé" isn't correct for a fictional character. Secondly, you know learn to know, where to use Capital letters while where to Small. Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Preet Kaur Madhan, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 17:54, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Jannat Zubair Rahmani. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Materialscientist (talk) 12:14, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week to prevent you from persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, most recently here, where you add unsourced biographical details that could potentially violate the subject's privacy. On top of that, there are other issues, including:
  1. Absolutely sloppy editing, like here, where you appear to be randomly capitalising words, like "Two Kids". Why? You also erroneously add a space in a parenthetical, you don't spell Pandit consistently, you fail to put a space after a period, and you miscapitalise more words in "Who dislikes Anita for Being a Lazy Woman." Apparently you need to brush up on your basic understanding of proper and common nouns. Same thing here where you randomly capitalise words, most of it wrong, and leave a dangling S on Evelyn Sharma's line. And wow this is really awful English. As is this, where you seem to have gone out of your way to inject bad English. There are no spaces before punctuation. Only after. You should not be writing prose.
  2. More sloppiness here, including unsourced claim.
  3. Miscapitalisations here. Why is "best friend" capitalised? Why did you put a space before a semi-colon? Why are you using a semi-colon instead of a comma or a colon?
  4. Here, why do you propagate the |death_cause= parameter, then add a blank, and non-existent |Cause of Death= parameter?
  5. Here you add extra names after slashes, apparently unaware that nobody unfamiliar with the series is going to understand what those names represent. Are they one person, are they two people? Is one a false name? Was a character reincarnated? This is totally sloppy. Use complete sentences and explain what happened to the character. They started the series named ___, they got married and became ___, her husband died and remarried, becoming ___. Also, someone has already informed you that fictional characters don't have birth names. "Née", would therefore be inappropriate.

These are just a few examples. Though you might have good intentions, you are demonstrating that your edits are more of a liability than a benefit. If you continue this problematic behaviour after your block expires, the next block will be for far longer. I recommend you quickly brush up on your basic English skills.

Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:00, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
